When Margaret Bahen Hospice opened the new 10 bed residential Hospice for York Region, I was so happy.

Everyone deserves the "Hospice Experience" for their last days or weeks and to celebrate their life with their loved ones. Knowing that there is 24/7 nursing care and all of the comforts of home help families and friends to focus on sharing memories and living every moment.

I didn't know that Margaret Bahen Hospice needs to fundraise in order to provide all the important services and programs they offer. It is only the nursing care that is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and everything else comes from donations.  That's why I'm Hiking for Hospice and I hope you will join me.
